This is the bamboo with wide stems. You can see it on the far side of the river.I walked in the bamboo forest a ways to get older growth.. All I can say is wow! Amazing! And it's actually grass!

Yeah, we have whole trees that look like poison ivy! Not touching them to find out! Lots of biting, stinging creatures too.Got Bamboo, Cap? Wow. You guys got all the good stuff. Rocks, bamboo....nice winter temps..
Missouri got 17 varieties of poison ivy, things that bite, things that sting and things that give you rashes.
gardenias..I call them smelly because when I went to our 10th grade home coming dance, my escort brought a corsage of gardenias.... they are strong smelling flowers. The scent is wafting in the front window now.What's the 'smelly' one, @CSolis, you didn't say. It's very pretty.
