The Old Folks Home

After 400+ miles on the road today with out incident I'd say I had a good day.
I was so wiped out after that show yesterday and loading all the stuff, that i kept dozing off on the way home. It's a wonder i wasn't killed. Then i get home and get the animals unloaded and put away, hubby helped. Then he wanted me to unload the equipment and sweep out the trailer. Called me a procrastinater. Which i am, but my fat old self can only do so much. Then he points out that son and family are coming today. As if it's my fault they suddenly changed their plans with so little notice and i didn't make the house spotless. As soon as i hit the sofa last night, i fell asleep. Woke up at 5 am. So i missed enjoying my evening. As soon as i get breakfast and pills down, i have to drive an hour to Danville to return the trailer.
I did sell $1200 worth of chickens etc. The goal is to have all of the chickens gone so i have less work to do. But he never said anything good about that. Makes me sad.
Hope you all have a good day. My son and family arrive some time today.

I floss/brush/rinse with mouthwash once a day, more if warranted. The dentist is amazed at the lack of wear on my teeth, which I attribute to fluoride drops as a kid. Flossing is especially important for gum health. My sister has had to have gum surgery and I don't wish that ordeal upon anybody. (shudder)

Had a visit with the orthopedist earlier this week. I'm just a BMI point off being surgery-eligible for my knees. So we did another round of cortisone to get me by and in three months we'll see about scheduling me. Looks like I'll start the new year with new knees. Yay!
My right one...😪 I had a shot years ago..starting to hurt again..bad.
