I do understand DH does not always notice everything I do either.
Do I notice all he does probably not.

I this there are 35 left of 60. Can't expect to sell all in one day. Sold one goat, a couple of ceramic things.

I swear, spouses are just wired differently and things not in their universe often go unnoticed. Case in point: Got my hair cut short. At dinner I asked DH if he noticed anything different. "Yeah. We're having baked potatoes!"
Sigh....
I try not to take that he's not tuned to the same channel as anything but that.

I had a decent after lunch nap and have gotten a lot of other things done since. Met up at the gas station with a young man that has helped in the past and will do it again. Maybe this coming weekend. This old man can use some younger blood behind the wheel for a few hours a week.

Yeah, but when he comes home with a haircut or decides to finally shave this week, and we don't notice, suddenly, their feelings are hurt. It changes from they got whatever done for themselves to, "I did it all for you."

Oh well, we smile and tell 'em they look great and everything's all better again.

Good morning OF. We've had a cool night and are supposed to have a not so hot day today. Wishing everyone a great day to enjoy.

Good morning OF. I'm re-washing dishes today.

A few days ago, I mentioned that the softener needed salt. It wasn't backwashing, which was apparent by the dishwasher leaving a horrible film on the dishes. Dh put salt in the softener tank. I have it set to backwash every other night, instead of nightly. When nothing changed, I figured it was the off night, and it would run the next night. 3 days later, and still no change in the water quality.

Dh went out last night to check on it. The last time they came to fix the iron filter, and softener, they rebedded all the mediums. They didn't finish hooking the softener back up, when they finished rebedding it. All this time, it has been filtering, but couldn't backwash to clean the medium, so the medium got oversaturated, and couldn't filter anymore. Dh hooked the wire back in, which the filter people didn't do, then set it to backwash. Now it's working just fine. Today, I'll be loading up some of my dishes in the dishwasher, to re-rinse them. That will take the film off of them.
