I left all of my goose down jackets in N. MO. So far since being here in south AL we've seen temps below 20 for only 4 nights and we did survive that. Our only citrus that survived is a Loquat. I may plant an apple tree this fall or early spring. I am hoping for a bumper crop of pecans. Not this coming spring but the spring of 2026 the peach trees here should give us at least 2-bushels for our food supply. Ma makes a killer spicy peach sauce that is so good on tacos and ribs.

Currently we have two orange trees, a nectarine tree, Avocado tree and a pomegranate tree. The Avocado and pomegranate trees should have fruit next year.

A pleasant day here today. Never got hot until I started fixing a muscadine trellis. Did a little grunt work on it and that did it.

Right knee is tweaking today. It doesn't hurt; it just feels like if I move the wrong way it could go really badly. So I think I'll just sit here at the computer and not bother it any more.
