SCG here you go
Roll into a 1/4" thick 12" circle. Spread with soft butter. Cut into 16 wedge shaped pieces. Starting at widest edge, roll up. Place in a 12" square pan with the points down. Bake at 375 degrees until golden brown. Not sure how long that takes maybe ten minutes? The recipe says it may be enough dough for two 12" circles so you may have to play with this some to see how it goes. Like I said, I just make both halves into pecan rolls.

ETA - yeah what Ron said!

My Mom makes me bring Crescent rolls to Thanks Giving each year. She says it is not Thanks Giving without them.

I usually make Trinity rolls. I roll up three pieces of dough per muffin hole. They come apart in three pieces so each one can get a different Jam or honey on it!

I need to make some tonight to go along with the soup....

It is afternoon here now and I am in the middle of making the rolls.

First the Milk, water, butter, eggs, salt, sugar and yeast proof at 110 degrees. See it starting to bubble and the yeast is looking wet?

Next is the kneading. This is the small batch of rolls so I can knead in the Kitchen Aid blender.

The Dough is all kneaded now and raising on the table. It will take around 30 min. to be ready for shaping.

Now it is time to start the soup!

That looks great! We made dinner rolls from half the sweet white bread, then a regular loaf of sweet white bread. SOOO delicious. My italian braided bread was pretty good too. We also smoked some meat - I had a small banty hen.

Man o man... you guys are KILLIN' me here...

everything described to this point regarding food sounds and looks delicious! Now I gotta go get me something fattening to eat! I love fried dough with yeast dough, but for some reason, I just can't get the yeast dough to rise like it should... Maybe I'll give the above recipe a try.

That all sounds great!

I just shaped the rolls and will get pictures up soon. I made some into crescents too.

CC- so very sorry to hear about the losses but glad you've got a handle on all the culprits. Weasels, wow. killing psychos. Go get em!!!
Just an FYI for future reference. You mentioned you have hasp latches and were going to get padlocks. What I use instead are carabeners (spelling?). Never had a coon open one and no keys, etc. to worry about. have them on all openings incl. popholes and nestbox lid. I just put a loop close by to clip them on when the pophole, etc. is open. Also these are a lot easier to open in cold/ice/snow.

The rolls are ready for the oven.

These are the trinity rolls. Three balls in each muffin hole.

The crescent rolls. I messed up on part and started cutting for square shaped dough. I fixed it after I rolled them up.

Here they are ready for the oven!

The oven is warmed up now so off I go to bake these rolls!
