The Old Folks Home

CC, that sounds delicious. I have a weird relationship with cilantro. With tuna, it works, in small amounts. But in most foods, I really dislike it. Then again, I like coriander. Very weird.

How are things over there? This latest tragedy must have stirred up quite a commotion?

cilantro tastes soapy to me if there it too much.

I do like it in Tortilla soup though.

Ron, yeah, I get the same soapy taste. That recipe looks interesting. I really should find some place that sells Monterey Jack, I've usually replaced it with emmental, possibly with a bit of parmesan to give some more taste. But it would be fun to have Monterey Jack for Yank foods.

I live in an "ethnic" town so I can get Mexican cheese here. I often use on of their melting cheese, queso asadero (white Mexican cheese). I like the on that is used in Chile Relleno...Very tasty.

Seems like the men you've met just didn't see a good thing when it was right in front of them.

It seems our broody issues are finally coming to an end. We picked up some Marans eggs yesterday, but Wilma spent several hours outside yesterday, and has been out for a few hours today too, so I don't think we're going to throw them under her. And Veera stopped brooding a couple of days ago.

Still scratching my head on that whole realationship thing. and I am NO help to my son.

So are you going to pop the Marans eggs in the Incubator? or the skillet.....

My marriage is just 19 years young but my use by date is long expired.

My attraction has always been cerebral.

In the Philippines, a large proportion of foreigners are men older than me by 10+ years married to or chasing girls in their twenties.

I can't see how that would be fun for more than a week. If my wife was to kick the bucket, I would not find a juvenile to replace her. I have the patience with my kids but I would not want to raise a wife too.

Inday being Filipino was random. I first became interested in her over the phone at work. Her accent is not Filipino so I had no clue when I laid eyes on her. Even other Pinoys don't tag her as a paisano.

Awesome Oz.... Mind to mind is the best.... and being best friends is a big plus too. Plus a huge sense of humor.
