I have done quite a few things. Started out being taught Cavelry style.... Western Saddle posting trot... Then I bought my first english and Argentine forward seat. then I got tired of being dumped off my horse and someone suggested Dressage.... Took lessons from a Morgan horse trainer named Marjorie Riding.... Once I finally learned how to use my seat I bought a Dressage saddle.... Took lessons from Marjorie's Protoge....
Her name was Lurena Bell. She took a Cow horse from Barn bum to Prix St Georges level. They could do Tiempe changes every four strides... ME... I never did get the hang of lead changes....

So My girl is a driving horse. I have ridden her maybe about ten times what an awesome experience.
Rocking Jolly Kateen ...... or Katee. Pure Percheron with a full tail... in this picture she was about seven. Not trained yet except to the Long lines.
Here she is helping me park the Forecart.
Here she is pulling my solid hickory Road cart. And yep thats me. I built the road cart.
the driving pictures are at the Del Mar Fair in 2001
I only found out later by looking at these pictures that I had her wayy over bitted. I had to switch to a Mullen mouth mouth piece from a broken mouthpiece... She stopped gapping and pointing her upper lip...
it was at this horse show that I found out that a draft horse can do a Capriole and almost take the wheels off the ground. All my fault...
A Capriole is when a horse rears and leaps up off the ground and kickes out with their hind feet. Its a Battle move in the Aires above the ground.... designed to unseat an opponent..... Notice the rider below has NO stirrups.
