Sort of at that gangly dino-like tween age...

I found that the smudge spots on the TJ's come in / feather out as a soft dove gray feather, not real bold like splash marans are.
 
Still no pip.. but the eggs are still wiggling on occasion, which I take as a good sign.

We're getting in spores for wellington oyster mushroom, shitake and lionsmane later this week to begin growing our own mushrooms. 2 bee packages have been ordered, next is the hives.

We have broccoli, cauliflower, turnips, red leaf lettuce, basil, ghost peppers, scorpion peppers, cayyenne peppers, jalapeño peppers started from seed. Our huge order from baker creek came in, and well. I can't contain myself lol.
