ahh ok. I had removed it from the other thread after a younger person was offended with all the comments people left about it. Not the photo but the comments. I even appoligized. But really, kinda shocking. I would have been beaten if I went home like that. But that was in the days you could beat kids for stuff

I went out and played with my new lens and got much nicer pictures















I am figuring out the new lens and how to use the camera out of auto mode.

WOW. Stunning detail. Did you photoshop at all?

SCG some of them I did have to adjust the light (contrast, shadows, highlights, etc) but most of them I just cropped as needed. No color adjustments at all and just used the Windows program for editing pics. I do have photoshop but usually only get into messing with it when I have a lot of time.

Well, you smarties, *I* just changed the language on my new Olympus SP-740UZ Digital Camera from something Asian to English. So there.

In doing so, I discovered I had indeed manage to TAKE some photographs when I first got its battery charged in January. When I tried to set it up.

I believe they could be candid in the highest form, as I didn't know I'd done it. Photos of the falling snow, the flock members out in it, etc.

After I get a few pictures taken with full awareness, I'll download 'em to the PC and share some. Right now I'm just tickled I can read the function display text!
