Here is some of my turkey poults that have been hatching since yesterday. I still have one pipped and two in the hatcher. But these are survivors of the half power in the back room.

I just read something cool. We are voting in a new parliament this coming Sunday, and apparently something that's been used by facebook in other countries is now going to be used here. There will be a "I voted!" button on facebook on Sunday, so that you can inform your friends that you've taken a part in shaping democracy. It will be very cool to see if it has some sort of effect. Like in many other countries, young people tend to be lazy voters here too, and maybe social media can help rectify that.

Good luck with it vehve. As for family and close friends I don't think anyone should know everyone's business all the time. I can and has caused hard feelings. But for news and charity and help finding missing people and pets it's great! jmho

I agree, facebook has it's uses, but people do put out a lot of unnecessary stuff there. I for one am completely happy not knowing that my high school friend's kid just made his third poop of the day.

Yeah to much info vehve, I don't do face book but the wife does to keep in touch with family. Some of the stuff on the is just dumb.

chickadoodles, not only does some employers look at it, I hear now banks are for loans and mortgages.

Spring is here. We are getting lots of rain. Currently I am looking through my window at a rose bush about to bloom and a dragonfly sitting on it and listening to the thunder!

Congrats on the hatching. My co-broodies are being good mamas. Chicks are a week and a half now and all doing well. I need to take some up dated pics once I have a dry moment. Camera/rain not a good combo.

Ya once FB let the government use it for facial recognition then FB started letting everyone on there. People have lost their jobs and so much more from FB. I do use FB but mostly to advertise my birds for sale.

Yes it would be great to get more of our citizens involved with the voting process, we have way to many people that don't vote. At the same time though I disagree with the youth vote. Having people who have no real life experience, get their 'news' from social media and late night comedy talk shows, pay no taxes, and haven't ever held a long term job or paid every day bills helping shape the direction of the country is scary.
