As a retarded sailor (24 years imprisoned), I resemble those remarks!

Sorry about all you good folks having to deal with misbehaved kids. It does NOT "take a village"... (I absolutely abhore that saying and what it implies!) it takes responsible parenting! The major problem with our degenerating society is the fact that so many are relying on "the village" to do THEIR jobs! And it's further compounded by the fact then when so me responsible person in "the village" tries, the police state & law suits punish them. Grrrr...

Am I so wrong to want a piece of property far removed from neighbors and to be left alone? Anyway, good luck with the renewed attempts at hatching! Hope your broodies can hold in there for the extra time required.

It may take a village to raise a child, but nowadays there are way too many village idiots, which explains a lot!

Didn't take a village for my siblings and I - just a very controlling father brandishing his army belt - two ended up in therapy, the third wouldn't go. We were really good kids, no smoking, drinking, drugs - we were all in advanced courses in school- didn't get into trouble without being threatened. Of course we grew up in an era where kids weren't allowed to go wild., though parents could.

I am back in the USA after 28 days with my family and beach farm.

Busy times. We are up to 600 bird sales. I started a guy with a BS in Animal Sciences to help run the place.

The kids were awesome. I miss them so much already.

There you are. I have a question. You will probably think...keep up Cynthia..lol..but, want to ask. Are you getting eggs, and taking them to the Philippines..or are you doing the opposite, bringing eggs to California? Someone was talking about not being able to bring eggs into another country.

We were going to FL again this year then the wife figured next yr would be better $ wise. I was looking at that Sunshine Skyway bridge and the wife said that's why she changed her plans of when we were at Bush Gardens in Tampa the bridge from Tampa to St Petersburg is just like that, she planed on going there to the beach until she saw the bridge. Then she decided we could just go to Daytona beach after Disney on the way home, no bridge lol.
