Well, it's pouring out. Good, we need it. Got the mowing done around the coop this morning, so the rain won't affect our plans any. Dh is sleeping, so he's enjoying the rain too. He finally put freon in my vehicle. It's so nice to have air. I normally drink Cuban coffee, called Cafe Rico. I don't usually go for the flavored stuff, except from one place called The Fresh Market, which is way across town from me. Well, they've opened a genuine The Fresh Market nearby and we got some of their French Vanilla coffee. I prefer their Hazelnut, but Dh doesn't like Hazelnut, so we settled on French Vanilla. I'm enjoying a cup now, and it's soooooo good.

SCG - I would think you should decide according to the decor of the intended owner. If it is for you, coordinate the border both with the quilt and the room that you will use it in the most. If it is for a friend or relative, find out the color scheme in their home. I really love the one above, but it wouldn't go too well on my couch, which is where I would want to curl up with it in the winter.

Our daughter did it again..sharing this photo of her being the one that caught the largest fish again this yr. Last yrs. was bigger.

Here is the one she caught last yr. Pointing to herself to make sure that we all know that she is the one that caught it.

Hangover 2 just went off. At the end Iron Mike Tyson was singing a song. I googled him out of boredom. Apparently he raises racing pigeons. Pretty cool. I hate typing so google it

holy you know what hole awesome huge fish!!!!! And bama, racing pigeons are awesome, have a couple buddies into it, It's some good times and funny stories!

Dsqard has been making a whole bunch for me on FB... I'm partial to the blue with yellow binder. She likes blue with red.







For those of you that don't like sewing.... very sorry.

Vote for blue and yellow, but would use some of the fabulous fabrics already in the quilt.

The intended owner is likely my sister. Can't keep everything I make, although I like this one. My sister saw it and immediately sent me a message back asking if it was for her birthday (in September) and then reminding me that her and the 4 girls have a bird watching "club." Then she sent me an email confirming she purchased me 80 rolls of the thread that I use and that it would be arriving this week! So I'd be a jerk at this point not to give it to her. She wants me to cut up the remaining scrap that I have from the birdhouses and make 2.5 inch squares and border with that. I think that would be waaaaay too busy so she's going to get it how I like it.
