We are a talkative bunch! I'm impressed that we're still going strong.

Alaskan and I are glad we live in cold climates. Generally speaking you have to wear a lot of clothes. And when it's hot, you still wear a lot of clothes or you end up dinner for bugs.

Anyone on here had their tonsils out as an adult? I go to the ENT this week and I am going to push for them to take them out. I've heard it is awfully painful for an adult procedure.

Once in Chincoteague Va. I needed alone time away from all the 'people'. I decided to walk North along the beach. Way in the distance I saw a large group of people. Once I reached them I noted that they were all nude. (Most people should NEVER take off their clothes. Somewhat embarrassed and in a bit of a quandary I walked through this group. Once on the other side my mind goes, "Now, how do I get back where I belong?" Easy, I just removed my bathing suit and head held high I walked back through this group of strangers no longer feeling like a voyeur. This beach has since been eliminated - not they I have checked.

Why of course I told the Princess. We have no secrets.

Even for me she found the behavior to be bizarre. Seemed completely rational to me.

I hate to tip my hand, but for a year or more I have been planning a trip in my head. The trip is not for me but more a way to entice a couple of friends to come see me. I have been keeping an eye out for places that these two would like to visit, in hopes that by offering a place to stay, some diverse sites to see, and possibly even some begging, I can convince them to come here. One of these friends loves photography and has quite a talent for it. The other has been going through a hard time lately, but is really smart and has a talent for canning, cooking, and trapping. Both enjoy sewing and hiking and I would just love for them to take a trip to Alabama.

I have just learned of a place that just might tip the scales. It is less than two hours from my house and I've never been there! It is just a day trip, but there are lots of those around here and I hope to put together an itinerary that will include several of those, to propose to them.
