I want to share a couple pictures of a quilt I finished over the weekend. It is for my cousin's newest baby. I thought it was a baby blanket but I didn't check the size before I started making it so no, it is a "big girl" blanket. I am also making her sister a blanket so they will both have a quilt. That one I just started cutting the fabric for. Here is the one I finished.

The next picture is a close up of the free machine quilting that I am learning how to do. I am really happy with how the medallion turned out on this one. A few hundred more hours of practice and it will be a lot easier.
