The Old Folks Home

Had to come look as I had no clue. It's called a Bravos by Maytag. And there's no front panel that can be removed on it.On the inside of the lid are instructions on how to use, but it says nothing regarding a lint trap or filter. This isn't an expensive high end machine.

It is not likely to be a filter that is the problem. There are two pumps, according to the article, and some junk can get into the second pump system. If so, it will likely cause the problems you are seeing. Instructions are here for fixing the problem:

Unplug your Maytag Bravos washer from the electrical outlet.
2

Slide the washer forward to access the drain and water supply hoses. Turn off the Bravos’ water supply at the wall. Use pliers to turn the water supply hose connections at the back of washer counterclockwise to remove them from the appliance. Use a bucket to catch any water left in the hoses. Pull the drain hose from the appliance drain hose or utility sink.

3

Secure the washer lid to the cabinet with a piece of duct tape. Tilt the Bravos washer forward and let the front of the appliance rest on the floor so you can reach the drain and recirculation pumps.
4

Locate the drain pump on the top left side of the washtub and the recirculation pump on the top right of the tub. Short, elbow-shaped inlet hoses connect both pumps to the bottom of the washtub. Discharge hoses connect to the side of the pumps and run up the side of the washtub. Two hose clamps hold the inlet hoses to the washtub and to the pumps.
5

Use pliers to squeeze the ends of the inlet hose clamps closest to the pumps. Slide the clamps halfway up the inlet hoses. Squeeze the ends of the discharge hose clamps and slide them away from the pumps.
6

Find the three 5/16-inch hex head screws holding the drain and recirculation pumps to the bottom of the washtub. Use a 5/16-inch nut driver to remove the screws from the pumps.
7

Unsnap the wire covers from the ends of both pumps to reach the wire harnesses. Unplug the harnesses from the pumps.
8

Look inside the inlet opening on both pumps. Use needle-nose pliers to remove any cloth or debris clogging the pump inlets. Look inside the inlet hoses still connected to the underside of the washtub for any cloth or debris clogging the pump inlet hoses. Use the needle-nose pliers to remove debris from the inlet hoses.
9

Reconnect the pumps to the bottom of the washtub. Attach the inlet and outlet hoses to the pump. Slide the hose clamps back to their original positions. Plug the harnesses back into the pumps and snap close the wire covers.
10

Return the Maytag Bravos washer to its upright position. Reconnect the inlet hoses to the back of the appliances. Insert the drain hose into the drain pipe or reconnect it to the utility sink. Turn on the water supply, plug the appliance into the wall and push it back into its original location.

What's for your Sunday dinner? Mizia is checking to see if we harvested anything for her.
Nice veggies. I grew so much swiss chard 2 years ago to learn no one in my family or my friends liked it. So I shared it between myself and my desert tortoise,Turtleina lol. I didn't have chickens or other fowl then. Cute kitty too.And tonight's dinner here is bbq'd charcoal grilled chicken with homemade potato salad and corn on the cob:)Michael actually made everything last night and made extra for tonight, so all he'll have to do is throw the corn on the grill tonight.I usually don't like to eat the same thing 2 days in a row, but Michael's homemade bbq sauce is out of this world, and I do love wings (they aren't from our chickens or garden though); so it was actually my suggestion to make enough for 2 nights. I'm hoping we are going to have some time later to process some rabbits and/or quail. Too hot to do a thing here today,so we'll have to wait til probably around 7 pm to do that.

Wow, thanks for this great info. I'll let Michael read this, so he can take care of it. I am, at the least, mechanically challenged.lol (besides being the Queen here too.) Hahaha

Oh, I have some Rainbow Chard I need to go pick today. This is a beautiful basket!
awww, thank you! been a crazy growing season here with 3 frosts in June and 2 in July. We've had some nice warm days recently the nights have still been staying in the 50's but now we had a cold front go thru this morning and everything's going back to 60's/70's daytime and 40's at night so that means all those green tomatoes are going to stay green, sigh....
Oh well, this year 1 basket of beans, 1 pepper, 0 ripe tomatoes, lots of zucchini, kale, greens, herbs, garlic, potatoes and pumpkins are looking good so out of 100,,,,,Mother Nature 91, silly master gardener 9.
