Oh, NO! It's the kind that can be cured with antibiotics, right? Keep us posted on your treatment, as well as his, and your progress in both recoveries. Bless you, you can't seem to catch a break. Hang in there......

X2!

I am so happy that they seem to have caught it early for you!

I want one of those Ninjas that do multitasking.... First and foremost for making juice... I always hated the idea of thowing away all that roughage created by a juicer...

But cream soups without cream, Asparagus, Broccoli, Coliflower (not a fan but in soup I will try it), Mushroom (oh yummm).... and even some Asian soups would be good... Using peanut butter for the protien and oil.... and a hot and spicy broth....

But you can also make smoothies with them.... and frozen yogurtt with fresh berries mixed in.... Mix it up and freeze... No sugar for many of them and I am a happy camper.

Then there is making my own ground meats.... Like Chicken and beef and pork... even salmon.... to control content herbage and fat...

I have a big pot of beans on the stove... just Pinto beans and a couple of ham hocks salt and pepper and Garlic are my seasoners... Oh and the ham hocks are smoked.... Lots of fiber and protien in that...

I can take some of those beans and do a smashup mix with coarsly chopped mushrooms and cook em like a meat patty for hamburgers...

Can you tell I am hungry right now.....

OK, since food has been the go to of late, I plan to eat late... working 11-12 hour days doesn't make for early dinners. Have a pork shoulder roast in the oven right now that should be done right about 9:30pm. Coated with seasoned flour (flour <obviously>, Lowery's seasoned salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder and a little accent) and a little water added for moisture. 45 minutes before it's done I'll throw in a bowl of scalloped potatoes w/parsely, chive and black pepper. Then when it's done I'll have me a midnight snack before bed, toss and turn for a few hours, then get up at 5 and start another work day. Have I become predictable? I need to retire again... Gettin' too old for this...
