Darn, I may have made the chick sanctuary in vain, looks like the grown ups don*t care so much for the chick feed, at least not this time around. And Karin saw the chicks using a waterer today, so the bowl is no longer needed.

Chicka, that's true. Always better to prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

We processed four bucklings today, we're starting to get quicker at it. I need to rig up a proper hanging system for them for the draining though, and maybe set up a comfortable processing spot somewhere.
 
That's right. Vehve what does goat meat taste like? I know a lot of people raise them as a food source. A market close by has goat meat and fresh pig for sale.I thought about trying it. But not sure.

I have had fresh pig and it is great I love it!
