Al, adulting sucks most days.

Beer, my fb rule is no work people. Strangers are fine. Haha.

'Friends' of the opposite sex who are not family are also off limits here, I found that out super quick..., guess fb announces who you are now friends with....
I have some from work but I'd consider them friends, I know them a lot better than some of my friends from high school.
Was thinking fb would be good cause I like to post a lot on news and political sites through Disqus but most have switched to fb for comments. But as soon as I was on got tons of requests from family and friends so I leave politics out, darn... Most all my family and friends have the same views as me but a few don't that I do like and respect other than politics so I leave it alone.
I might have to make a new one with no friends

Beer I did not like all the hate going on over the elections so I had to unfriend a lot of folks that were just down right hateful if you disagreed with their point of view. I also blocked all the hate memes that were political. I don't know how in the world my FB page got so slammed with politics. I never discussed my point of view on FB. To me it's suppose to be for sharing personal stuff like pics, sewing, cooking and gardening or what ever with family and friends. Jmho

PS I did have a few by friends on my FB until the presidential election. They just got so hateful even telling people they were going to hell. Wow

My sister dropped Facebook for the same reasons.

Diva I thought about it. But just unfriended everyone who made me unhappy when I got on it instead.

I had to unfriend several on FB, during this last election, as well. I didn't mind them arguing their point of view, but when they resorted to name calling, and getting downright nasty, I unfriended them.

I more or less just skim through occasionally so I just ignore some stuff. I don't even 'like' or comment much on good family stuff unless I happen to see it right off.
DW actually unfriended one of her aunt's cause she couldn't take the non- stop hate filled garbage.

I rarely want anything to do with fb anymore I go to see if a few cousins or my Brothers girlfriend posts about him as he is severely disabled but had a heart attack not long ago
but since the election I too have avoided the way it has gone just spend the time on here

I like the ignore feature on here, if you don't like someone you can just ignore them.

that was on the old also but a good feature no matter when you through all the temperaments from all the different states and countries there can be differences of opinions a very smart person once said opinions are like butt wholes we all have one
