The Old Folks Home

Shortly after my first granddaughter was born, I babysat for her. I put a couple quilts on the living room floor, and set her on the quilts. I watched to see what the cats would do. One cat was indifferent. The cat that likes chicks/chickens, came up and watched her for a bit, then laid on the quilt, but not too close to the baby. The first time the baby cried, the cat walked up, sniffed her a little. That didn't stop the baby from crying, so she jumped up on the couch, bugging me. She did that every time I babysat. According to my cat, babies are not allowed to cry, and if they do, get mama.
Smart cat! My cat always hid when strangers show up.

We never had cats in house Ma said they belonged in the barn ... oddly when she came to see me a year before she passed I had a 2 cat in the house she got up in the morning said the cat slept in bed with her at her feet
See what she was missing out on all those years!

I use Afrin every night so I can breath... Still end up with dry mouth :sick
I think i have dry mouth because it is a side effect of my medication. But if i quit the medication, things get bad. I drink a lot of water usually but i have been so busy building i have had less than usual.

I get dry mouth too (Im 70) and know other seniors on the bus use some product for dry mouth - I think it's OTC, pharmacist could tell you. I find it best to chew sugarless gum when I need to. Gum chewing helps stimulate saliva output. I use spearmint. A plus with that is,it helps curb some of my over eating because food tastes funny after chewing spearmint gum. I also notice it makes liquids taste much colder. I have sensitive teeth, so have to wait for the taste to disapate before I have liquids.
