The Old Folks Home

I greatly dislike when the muck gets frozen to the boot...only to thaw onto the floor. :sick
And Dh questions my penchant for cardboard. It's a thirsty floor saver.:yesss:

How is your toe faring? Is there any improvement?
Thank you for asking. Not much change. The bruising is fading a bit, creeping down my foot now but the swelling isn't going down. DH had a doctor's appointment today. I found my biggest pair of sneakers, unlaced them and managed to get my foot in without having to be peeled off the ceiling. Still hobbling around with the cane even then. I could hardly wait to get home and go barefooted.

I did finally remember what I stubbed my toe on. DH is working on our cattle dog's wheel chair in our shop. I remembered going out to where my onions are stored to grab one for hamburgers without turning on the lights and hitting something on my way back to the house. Today I traced my steps and sure enough, the only thing in the path that I could have hit was the wheel chair. It was the only thing small enough to go between my little toe and the one next to it.

I traced the fracture to the joint at the tip. Right where I broke the left toe 10 years ago. It took about two weeks before I could get a shoe on. I remember DH cutting a little side car in my cycling shoes so I could stand to ride after three weeks.

DH has an open account with them. He orders from them like I order from Chewy.com. They have everything imaginable. He says it's one heck of a hardware store.
and the beauty of Mc Master is they have all the physical dimentions for components... so you can check to see if the motor foot print will fit and if its too tall for your space... you can even down load drawings if you need them.
