I called my Mom. She has a walker now. That makes me glad and sad at the same time. My Aunt and Dad both got one before they died. Missing all of them today.

Dinner is almost ready!
And thanks to hubby's help the solar water heater is in the run! Still needs the green weeds to get the manure working. And i need to make the screen to keep the chicken out of the greens in the window box that should be sprouting eventually. The chickens were curious but i will wait for tomorrow to let them in.

dinner is in the oven time to feed dogs in a few, Gave my older girls the boiled giblets all cut up so tey all got some boys said they prefer the stuffing without well last year my caregiver and her husband raised turkeys they raised, killed, cleaned and delivered no giblets no big deal

Got home from neighbor's at dusk. Great time was had by all. I am so glad they asked us. It was nice to be in the middle of a big family dinner. The last few years have been a jumble of retiring, closing down a business, closing down a second home, trying to find a sense of equilibrium. Today felt.....normal. It was a good day.
