It got to 73 degrees here today. Sunny but windy. It felt like spring. Guess this is what they call Indian summer.......if it would last until April 1, I'd be happy.

Started working on my Christmas decorations this afternoon, kind of a tradition for me to start the day after Thanksgiving.

Funny thing. It was So beautiful outside but do you th ink those silly chickens of mine were out enjoying it? Nope.

Mine were out in their runs! My Polish were just staying in the coop most of the time so i started feeding them in the run. Now they like it out there! The Speckled Sussex were busy checking out the solar cage today. It was cute to see them!

Tomorrow I plan on coop cleaning. It is getting dark here now so too late!

And i am trying to compost in the bin under the waterer to provide heat at night. Plus i am putting a small window box in there to grow grass seed!
