I forgot...my appointment went ok. My liver enzymes were down this time. 
She's still concerned about my gall stone. I've got to look that up. More blood tests before she renews my script for diabetes meds...and I'm also supposed to get an ekg done at the same time. And no news is good news if I don't hear from her. She almost sent the sheriff after me after my last tests when she wanted me back for another appointment.
DH got his script refilled for his meds right now and the Rivaroxaban script for his surgery.
We both got pill organizers. I put my pills in it. I feel so organized.
And the very best part of the day was going to the feed store where I get my shavings. I want course shavings so I've been checking, and checking AND checking to see if they've got any coarse shavings in. I hit the jackpot!
They had just broke a half pallet and it was all coarse. Even the owner lit up when we showed up...they'd been talking about us since they got this pallet in. 
They're so accommodating!
He got his forks on, moved it out so I could inspect it and loaded that puppy up. Twenty bags of shavings...and I'm in heaven. 
They tell me that the company tells them the fine shavings are from the dry wood and the coarser shavings are from the wetter wood. They want to cut from dry wood. I have an uphill battle...lol.
I haven't been able to get chick starter at all (off season) so I ordered a dozen bags into the Saskatchewan feed store we go to. We just got the call yesterday that it's in!
Halleluia!!! They are going to leave it on the pallet too. That way we don't have to handle any of it, it's right there next to the chickens. Dh and I do enough lock'n and pop'n...this is one way to lessen the burden. I'm going to order feed in by pallet load and skip all the bag handling. The fellow at that store is fantastic! He has to order it in separately to get it to come in.

The thrill will wear off with the pill organizer, trust me. I hate filling them. I have 3 i use so every three weeks i dole them out. I just did it yesterday.
Nice that you got the feed you wanted! I love when stores are accomodating!
I talked to MIL tonight. Most of the retail stores there are either already closed or closing soon. Very sad.

We lost our feed store we could walk in do that it was in Morton 10 miles down the road

I asked at TSC if the had winter wheat seed. They looked at me like i was crazy. What? Is it too late to plant, sold out or what? Talk u idiots!
I wish they had Co-op here. There is a feed place in Danville that has more fancy clothes than feed. Yuck!

I already don't find it that fun to fill it...lol. However, since I can't remember from a minute ago if I've taken my pills if there are several things going on...I appreciate being on point with taking all my medication as I should be taking it. I know I've missed taking some of my Metformin because I have half a bottle left when it should be empty. At least this way I know I've taken it. I've only got 3 pills left to go tonight.
