The Old Folks Home

We gave up soda pop last month. Diet Pepsi and Diet Rite were staples around here. We decided we were just drinking too much of it and stopped cold turkey without too much difficulty. Last week one day I craved a can of pop but got over it pretty fast.

Morning everyone. Sitting here trying to get my eyes to focus. Busy day ahead. Grocery shopping, pick up chicken food....need more coffee....:caf

I'm going to look about the aspercream with lidocaine today also. My feet have me raising a white flag. Either aspercream or the doctor with his pointy needles filled with steroids and anesthesia.

Great news, not only do i have an appointment with the sleep doctor on the 19th, i also got an appointment on the 21st for the orthopedic doctor. Just hope he takes my new insurance in January. My knees are bothering me quite a lot. Hubby asked why i was blowing out through pursed lips. Didn't even realize i was but helps me deal with pain.
For knee pain try:

Avovida
Type II collagen

glucosamine chondroitin

Avovida works very well

I well remember the 5-6 cup days at a stressful job---the walk to the coffee maker helped with mulling over ideas......

These days coffee is a thing of the past, just one for pure enjoyment now and then, as caffeine has been removed from my menu.

Why remove caffeine?

Coffee with caffeine is good for the heart and fights cancer. It has been shown to lower death from all causes.

Because of the effects on the brain, per Dr Daniel Amen, ADD/ADHD specialist.

I enjoy decaf and use great foods like mushrooms and tumeric to fight the Big C fight for me. ALso a minimum of 1 cup of green tea every day. LC food is far better for the heart and the cancer fight: dump the breads and pastas, etc then sub lots of colorful vegies and a few fruits instead. The number of micronutrients in the veg and fruits are too numerous to list. Sooooo, I eat a few black/blue grapes but pass on the green ones. A real apple, never applesauce.

WHen I finially left the job from hell, a migraine hit like no other......lol, because I only drank coffee at work...... I do drink caffeine (reg coffee) if I need the jolt to my brain, to quicken its thinking, but only in emergency. Overall, I am trying to be kind to my brain.
