Yes! It is much cooler at 93 than 107.

35 here this morning. I've seen frost. Gotta get the garden pulled up this weekend. Harvested my lone pumpkin the other day before the frost and I've got a couple really large squash of some kind that I have to figure out what they are.

Got a call from my real estate broker: "Come get the keys - escrow closed and recorded today. It's yours, now."

I am heading out the door NOW.

On a side note...I did my first cull today. From cage to fridge....one of the 6 month old cockerels. I cut his lil' head off, dunked him in hot water, plucked him, eviscerated him, rinsed him and put him in a big tupperware bowl in the fridge to chill for 3 days.

I just found the last 4 pullets I needed to replace me predator loss. Well actually 7(I can't break up a set). More unwanteds..owner said they smell. My question is can I quarantine both groups together in one pen? I pick them all up tomorrow.
