Well its official... I have had my first Kimchee.... and its
WONDERFUL. Now Kimchee I belive is Korean.. and usually
VERY hot... But she said this was mild. so she put a small mound of it next to my Poki salad.

Its Basically cabbage and chili oiil and chili powder packed in jars and allowed to ferment....

this poki salad is awesome by the way.... all the meats tossed with a green saad plus Edamami and corn and onion. Eel too... which was outstanding all by its self. The dressing was Sesamesoy....sauce...

Myth: cleaning eggs will ruin a hatch...very not true based on poultry

I think it is true... if you just wash in water...

I think it is false if you use a cleaning agent. .. like the ones you mentioned.

The myth says that washing off the bloom makes the eggs go bad. Using just warm water will not remove the bloom but the cleaning agent might.

With warm water does not hurt the hatch either.

Knock, knock... I've peeked in a 1/2dz times, but haven't officially been by since October. Do you guys still have room on the porch for an old broom?

Of course there is room for another broom on the porch and if there isn't we'll just tip one of the guys out of their rocking chair and voila!

I don't have a broom to ride but I do have a shirt that says 'if the witch's hat fits, wear it!'

I wash them when they are very dirty or have egg goo on them from shipping breakage
