The Old Folks Home

Well its official... I have had my first Kimchee....
I love kimchi. Grocery stores usually have it in the produce section refrigerated right around where the tofu type stuff is. I've made my own, a lot easier than making sauerkraut, same beneficial bacteria but even tastier, and healthier the way I make it.
You can make it right in qt mason jars, just set it on the counter for a couple to few days until it starts working then refrigerate.
I chop up cabbage, shredded carrot, sliced daikon radish, onion, green onion (I used chives) celery, sliced garlic, ginger, lotsa cayenne chili powder (I don't have any Korean stores around or would get Korean hot chili powder)
Supposed to have fish sauce in it also but I omitted it, scared of it, will use it next time. Has to have some salt in it also.
Only problem with it is DW says it stinks and makes me go outside on the porch to eat it...
Lol :p

Finally got my introductory radiation consultation appointment.... March 12 in the AM.....

Most cancer centers are putting patients on special Chemo diets. Good pro biotics needs to be a part of that too

Has anybody ever bred any bantam NNs?
I am on a Facebook group for NNs started by a byc member and there is some that breed their own bantams.
Hard to find otherwise, only from breeders. Duane Urch, Urch/Turnland Poultry, I heard has some bantams standardized and show quality.
Dunlap hatchery has bantams, pics look like they are yes naked necks but look crossed with games.
Dunlap also has broiler large fowl NNs. Their website is all messed up right now though, looks like their switching to a different format. They have the cheapest hatching eggs I've found, .95cents- $1.50 or so per egg, $14 shipping on first dz, $3 doz after that. Other hatcheries eggs cost more than live chicks and only offer certain breeds.
