A friend from Italy told me stories of how the system is the opposite in Italy. If youwalk in a store and the glass entry door breaksin to a million peices-- you are responsible for the repairs.
Linda-- you might want to consider no tressing signs and enter at your own risk signs too. Not perfect but can help.
Nicely done!!!! the many points coming together in the center is very hard to get right.
I use machine quilting-- I don't have time for hand quilting. TOOOO time consuming. ALso you can use another style: can't remember the name. Pole thru all layers, then back up again and tie offf leaving an inch tuft. ALso very easy. Handquilting is for the pros. lol
Somebody had snarked at me about the chain across the new property's driveway, so I bought and wired two reflectors to it this afternoon. Stupid litigious society. Seems to me if anybody ran the chain with a vehicle it would be entirely his or her fault and damage would be an "Oh well, yer stupid," incident, not my problem.![]()

LOVELY!! Both of them.
Quote: RE chains---I know a horse that got loose and rand down a road and hit the chain at full speed--- really damaged his chest poor thing. Marking a chain or cable is a good idea.
RE-- the skillful crocheting= nice nice work!!
Said driveway chain is really heavy-duty, bright & shiny silver, with links as wide as two of my fingers, not a mere cable, because I did want it to be easily seen. By itself it is quite a "no access" statement. Due to its girth and the way it hangs/drapes, small persons on dirt bikes could not possibly be clotheslined by it. Drunk persons in cars could suffer some major front end damage, though. Well, to their vehicle, as beng drunk is already "front end damage," of a sort. It is a VERY heavy chain I find difficult to lift back up to secure when I leave the property. I have pictures of it... Oh, yes, pictures. Ummm. Yeah...
