I'm in Middle Tennessee and we are still in the 80's here with air conditioner on full blast lol. If its cool enough in the mornings I usually turn off the air and open all the windows to let the house air out some.

In other news, my dad finally went and had his skin cancer removed!! I did not even know he was planning on it. The removed a place from the side of his neck about the size of 2 quarters side by side. It took 10 stitches just on the inside, mom wasn't sure how many are on the outside. He is in some pain, but doing well. They are sending it off for testing to determine if they need to remove more and then will do more testing on him to make sure that they got it all and that it did not spread to lymph nodes or anything. He has had this for years now and I'm so glad that he has had it taken care of. He will be 60 the last day of January and I need my daddy for many more years to come. His biopsy from a couple weeks ago showed it was basal cell carcinoma.

There is snow on the top of this mountain, hard to see in this photo. More on another mountain just a bit North of us..but I took this picture in front of our house, was standing in the middle of the street.

It was so pretty, had to share.

Oh it is beautiful! When I retire one day I am going to visit places like that!

Just put 6 Pekin Duck eggs in the bator. My girl has been laying EVERY day on cue! Her sister has not started yet I dont know what that means, they are the same age. No chicken eggs yet tho.

I meant to send you a note last night. This is the 2nd pic I've seen that you posted, goodness, what a view, and little travel involved! Truly, absolutely breath taking. The air even looks like it would be clean, fresh and invigorating. I wanna come see you too. It is one of those places we've ear marked on our bucket list....geez, it just keeps getting longer. Oh well, folks got to have dreams....Chirp
