The Old Folks Home

HOPEFULLY there is also a physical health improvement as well.
Of course physical is happening.... But I am talking about psychological... No matter the shell you are wearing at the time... You are still the same person Mentally... Socially... with the same mind... the same Sanity....

which is the ONE thing that keeps me going back to Weight Watchers... They provide help in those areas ... ways to cope to Understand... But you still have the same tools of personality you have to use to learn with. I have always felt lacking in social skills.

Someone called me a Greek goddess one time when i came into the club with a wrap around dress... This was a place where I danced regularly country and western. It was a great complement... I appreciated it. he was a friend from the beginning and hadn't seen me for quite some time. He had always looked me in the eye when talking to me.

I just dont connect with people on a personal level in a casual way. I have always only had one or two friends... Now I have no one ... Not here where I could call them up and say lets have a cup of coffee... or Wanna go to a movie... By the way My friends never called me... ever. I think that says quite a lot...

Deb hang in there. Don't go into a depression.
Climate change is doing a lot of strange things all over the globe.
I am doing good.... MUCH better before antidepressants... before I would have shut down for a couple of weeks instead of days...

but even so I am still depressed and I am going to my psychologist this afternoon.

Yes, lots of sun screen, wide brim sun hat, there is even spf 50 shirts to wear.
yep people dont think of the fact that the sun can go through clothing...

I am beginning to see umbrellas.... People walking along the sidewalk with an umbrella... At first I thought it was odd... but then I realized and Thought it was Brilliant...

Doesn't help that the sun is coming up later and going down earlier either. Bizarrely I have 2 hens rooming together in the broody buster and 3 are moulting.

We were giving him 12 units of insulin a day and DH did some research and found a company that is making high protein cat food for diabetic cats.
Yep, Young Again Zero. I bought that (not cheap, $125/25 pound bag). It didn't put Samantha into remission but it cut down her blood sugar. Whereas I was giving her 3 units twice a day before, I was testing twice a day and giving her zero to 2 units twice a day. So it did make a significant change. She developed kidney disease, that is what took her down, not the diabetes.

Thoughts and prayers with y'all; a quick look back at the last few pages tells me a buncha folks need 'em!:hugs:hugs:hugs

Change that to a great blue heron and you have my drying up pond. Darn thing keeps coming back to the all you can eat buffet of frogs and small dying fish. And sitting on my solar panel and pooping on it. Heron poop decreases electricity generation.
