That is a real shame JD. Since your county seems to be running in the black, is there any way you can separate from the other and become autonomous? Maybe you could find an angel investor that would loan the funds long term at low interest to start up? Maybe some of the seniors could volunteer their time to help keep employment costs down and it would give them "something to do" to keep them engaged and operating? Sorry it looks like you're out a PT job.

Last but not least, Congrats to you Diva on getting to 100K posts! Quite the milestone.

We're hoping so. Some local leaders are trying to put a board together and try to get the use of the building. It just doesn't look good right now.

Had heard she was severely ill. Didn't know she had passed. That's sad. I remember when she made her big splash into the music scene. Seems like just yesterday. Rip girl

JD, that just sux. Don't people realize that the baby boomers are the largest population demographic in the country? Evidently not. This culture does not honor age at all. Oh well, their loss.
