I STILL remember my last injection with a reusable needle... it sure was in need of a good sharpening
Back in the day docs had an autoclave for sterilization.... all instruments went in including needles... NO ONE uses them any more... I remember Polio vaccination and TB vaccination... ONe of them had to be stabbed into my arm about ten or twelve times... Dont remember which... I still have the scar from it.
It was my grandad... ages ago now, when I was a kid getting some kid shot.... . he was a doc, my grandmother, his wife was head surgical nurse. I think they had only been used on the family.... oh... and the cattle.![]()
