Looking at seeds for next yr, came across rat-tail radish, serpent radish, or tail-pod radish, they actually grow them for the pods. Look just like my giant radish pods.
Burmese rat tail radish.

Also found a scam company I never heard of, Jack Seeds, established in 1859 in the USA. They have varieties I never heard of. View attachment 1548381 View attachment 1548382 View attachment 1548383 View attachment 1548384 View attachment 1548385 View attachment 1548386

Crazy town!

She does look cute, Cyn.

Did she find the bodies? Or the stones? Or both?

Al, he finds burials, so marks the head to toe (or toe to head) of the grave. He senses the disturbance/shift in the earth, not necessarily the body or the stone. Many did not have stones, anyway.

He found 20 +/-3 burials. In the 1950s a group went around and wrote down all that was seen in each cemetery. This one had 10 stones. It is very common for a cemetery to have unmarked graves. Many times stones were unaffordable or even in this area, difficult to get. Portland didnt get their first stonecutter until 1800 (Bartlett Adams), so stones before that had to be sent away for and shipped. Most didn't have the money for that.

Morning all! Slept 10 hours last night. Methotrexate kicked in and kicked my butt. Couldn't hold my eyes open past 10pm which is very unusual for night owl me.

@Cynthia12 she is absolutely adorable! Nothing prettier than a lady in waiting unless it's a bride! First baby? I'm saying she has a bit of time yet. Baby is just starting to drop. She looks so happy, though and I bet you are as excited as she is! Congratulations!

More outside jobs today while the weather is nice. Bone density test on Thursday...I can hardly wait, .......not, LOL.

maybe used wood markers?

You will be so glad you did that, Cap. It will really make 'seeing' better for you.

Got a new roost bar hung in the bantam coop. Lots more to do but have that crossed off the to do list. going to be working on the rooster coop this afternoon. Just beautiful outside. Sposed to hit 80 for a few days then storms and a big cool down.
