Because sometimes you just need a chicken picture or two to take your mind off of things...

[These are two sisters from my French Black Copper Marans roo crossed with a splash f2 Cuckoo Bluebar (some nouveau Legbar hybrid that nobody is willing to divulge the formula to.) Hopefully going to get some nice olive eggs, but the hen's genetics is kind of a wildcard. In the meantime, I'm enjoying the eye candy.]

Have you thought about doing a DNA test to find more info on your family?
Not really, don't see where it makes much difference.

The cost of these treatments will go down.
Unless the pharmaceutical company decides people will pay big to not die. Doesn't matter what it actually cost to develop or manufacture.

chicka, have you tried calling them? There will probably be one specialty pharmacy that handles their customers. Call them, and talk to them. When I was prescribed Ibrance, the specialty pharmacy that handles it called me. When they told me how many thousands of dollars it would be, I told them to cancel, because I couldn't afford it. It was over $300.00 a day. That adds up fast for a month's worth. When I told them I couldn't afford that, they told me not to worry, there was a program for those that couldn't pay for it. They accept the amount my insurance allows for it, which is less than $20.00 a day, then the program kicks in for the rest. I don't pay a dime. That's why I'm saying to ask your doctor about it, then talk to them. Be sure to tell them you can't afford it. When you do, they usually have something that will cover it.

I need to see a retina specialist first. Been having a lot of light streaks in my vision along with double vision.
I'm waiting for dh to get his brace off to start my appointments I've put off.
I probably won't need much for my eyes now. But the problems in most of the women in my family come late in life. Cornea transplants and then they still go blind.
But I probably have about 10 years before I will have to deal with that. From watching my aunts and cousins.
