Morning everyone. Having worked with my husband in optical medicine, I hate to hear that you and others are having potential problems, @chickadoodles. Please don't put seeing the doctor off for too long.

Not much going on here. Cold, snow, clouds repeat. I looked at the callendar yesterday and saw the first day of winter on Dec 21. Looked out at the 2 inches of snow on the ground and said 'and this is still fall?'

Already making a spring project list for outside. For now, just staying inside and embroidering. Have fleece fabric on the way from Joann. I'm making a blanket shawl for myself and some blanket throws as gifts.

Almost sorry I clicked on the site. Now I'm addicted. LOL!

Be sure to tell them you can't afford it. When you do, they usually have something that will cover it.

And that is the sad part isn't it?? $300/day. OK not really, we can do it for $20/day. Our pharmaceutical companies are really screwed up.

I need to see a retina specialist first. Been having a lot of light streaks in my vision along with double vision.
I'm waiting for dh to get his brace off to start my appointments I've put off.
I probably won't need much for my eyes now. But the problems in most of the women in my family come late in life. Cornea transplants and then they still go blind.
But I probably have about 10 years before I will have to deal with that. From watching my aunts and cousins.

You do need to get in and take care of yourself. Too often care givers put off going to the Dr. and then have more problems from waiting

Yep, finally drank the Kool Aid!

So far all I've gotten is email coupons. Had a bone to pick with them today. I ordered a beautiful fleece fabric to make a shawl for myself and they notified me today that they were unable to fill the order.....after telling me that it was in stock. Second time they have done that this week. I politely told them that if they were going to do that they could at least offer free shipping on a reorder, especially since they have been telling me that the fabric is in stock and ready to ship.

I was able to find some pretty Navajo print fleece to use instead and bought four yards of it. Always something to be done with fleece. So help me if they tell me that they are out of it again I'm going to unleash a red headed fury on them.

They've done that to me a number of times, Micro.

Makes me really mad, especially when it still says it is in stock.

Check stores, if it's in Waterville, Maine, I'll go pick it up for you.

Thanks SGC. If they do that to me again I will do that. Our nearest store here is in Columbia which is about 75+ miles from us. There is one in Quincy IL but who wants to pay IL sales taxes?!
