The Old Folks Home

Andorian....:lau I love it. I have a Catrike Pocket, a Trek Madone and a Catbike Musashi. I also have a fixed gear that my husband made for me when we first met. My Madone is black.

I'm so sorry to hear about your mom @Bunnylady. What a heartbreak that must be for you. Bless you for letting her take pleasure from her garden even if all she can do is look out the window at it. I'm sure she loves you to pieces for taking care of it for her.

Even worse that she fell while at the hospital. Yes, they are responsible for tending to any injuries she suffered. I don't understand why they couldn't have done a quick xray of her hand while she was there to rule out fractures without it interfering with her other tests. But skin tears so easily when you get up there in age. I'm starting to see it happening with my own hands and arms. And no, I don't like it at all.I hope she heals without problems and her scan and biopsy turn out negative.:hugs Give her a hug for me when you see her and :hugsone for you also.

Signed on this morning to absolutely zero alerts from you folks. I was like WTH? Did the zombie apocalypses happen and I missed it? And I stocked up on all those weapons and ammo just for the event! I had one alert, that a person liked one of my posts... I went to see what post and it was a welcome post in a new member intro from April 2018. :gig

Anyway, came here to TOFH to find 7 pages of new material I hadn't seen. No idea why I didn't get an alert. :idunno Belated happy birthday Ron. Hope that ice storm stops for you SCG and maybe even gets just above freezing for a while so it can melt. Sorry to hear about your mom Bunny... Hope the tests are all good news and that her hand heals and nothing serious. Kinda strange to hear of a grounds keeper that charges by the item... Hmmmm Glad you old folks are still fighting father time and doing all that you can.

Called my hay guy this morning as I'm about out. Haven't heard back from him and I need to get it today. Damp and rain comes back for a few days starting tomorrow. Last time I transported hay and it was misting, I ended up with damp/wet hay and mold.:sick Today should be sunny and nice, temp ~50° At least with the clouds and rain the day temp goes down but the night temp goes up.

Hope y'all have a great hump day. Course for most of us old folks, we no longer "work" (HA! anyone owning any kind of farm knows better!), so every/any day can be hump day...

I am sorry that the alerts were messed up for you!

Thanks for the happy Birthday.
I hope the hay delivery goes well today too

Apparently, some do. Critter had a customer try to do the 'a la carte' bit a few months ago. He gave them a bid, and they came back with, "if we have you just do this, this, and this, how much less would that be?" He said, "if I can't keep the whole place looking half decent, I don't even want to be there."

He got the contract.
