I would be more than happy to chuck it the time change was for farmers that had children that worked the fields with them how often does that happen now?

There is a very good chance that this was the last time change for us here in California. We passed an advisory initiative last fall asking to make time change permanent.

We will see if the Legislature follows through and then if the Feds approve it.

Today was like Christmas! Custodial swept and mopped my office last night. Sweeping happens rarely. This is the first time I remember them mopping and I have been here for 24 years!

Usually we have to pay $700.00 to have the floors waxed

Sounds like the Sunday school class where I taught ages ago. Could never get the custodian to dust mop or wipe up the floor. After it going about three months with the kid induced crud building up, I found the custodian and told him that if the Sunday school rooms weren't mopped and the floor cleaned by the next Sunday, we were going to do it and bill him since he was getting paid to do it and wasn't doing it.

Got the floor cleaned that day.

I heard that the custodial supervisors inspected here and saw that the work schedule was lacking. It will take some time since only some offices get mopped each Tuesday. They are supposed to be swept each week though

Morning all bought the 6 OE yesterday afternoon lost them all guess the stress was too great for them gave them a bit of nutri drench in their water but still lost all of them

You sure they aren't planning to move someone more important into your office?

On the other hand, my housekeeper/custodian at work is amazing. I can't speak highly enough of him. He goes above and beyond his official duties. Last week he noticed one of our carts had a bad wheel and we were going to have to move it to the back to take it out of rotation and put a work order in. Before we could do that he asked someone in maintenance to come up and replace the wheels for us (and they did!) and didn't even tell me about it until it was all done. My office floors get bleached daily, when I leave for a meeting so he doesn't interrupt. He won employee of the month a few months back and was so proud. He really deserved it. Wish he could get a raise or be promoted (but he also doesn't want to leave my department).
He was given to me as "he's a good worker but he's really grumpy" Definitely had some interesting experiences at first, but grumpy is not how anyone now would describe him... he's downright happy and smiley.
