bruce, call your cell phone service provider, and ask them about it. They may have an upgraded SIM card with Wi-fi capabilities, that you can get for a half way reasonable price. Of course, you have to have your Wi-fi on at home, and it will ask for a code. Most modems have the code on the actual modem. You just put that in, so it has permission to use your Wi-fi modem, and then you have great phone coverage around your home. I have the modem permission at several of my friend's homes, my cousin's place, and Dd #2's home. It just automatically switches, once it's set, and doesn't take but a minute to set it up.

Don't know if TracFone does that. They aren't known to be particularly "feature rich". Doesn't matter really since we have a landline.
