I have been busy building a coop out of a 4 foot by 5 foot packing crate. It will house a few bantams.

Side view. Hardware cloth will be added on the upper right. The open bottom area will have a nest box for broodies.

My carpenter assistant has to be tied to the fence when I work on her corral...

"Here 'wet me help you...."
Out goes the hammer and its flung across the shade structure....
"And This...."
Equal treatment for the screw drivers and sometimes the whole pail....

Heaven forbid you stick a tool in your pocket and lean over.... Wiggle Wiggle Tug..... then she stands there with the handle in her mouth and nodds her head... "HOw do you use this thing...

I gather up the tools job forgotten in laughter.... and sit on the hay in the shade with my back to her corral.... The upper lip comes out and smak smak smak... at the nap of my neck and my collar.... Forget trying to look neat around a two thousand pound pocket pony....

I think I am the second oldest on here, and someone who has a mountain chain named after them is somewhat older. Our birthday days & month are just a day apart.
