So bad I walked out without saying good by and drove to moms house.... Sent mom to stay with her and went on to get lunch for them.

Feelings are hurt.... and I cant talk to her right now.... Not like me....

I haver seen a couple of Dementia relatives become mean with the illness

My mother dreaded having to take care of my dad's mother. Everyone was relieved when I stepped up to the plate, and took care of her when she broke her hip. She was my favorite grandmother. She was mentally sound, and cooperated with me, so it was easy to take care of her. I only had to do it for about 5 weeks, then she died of a blood clot from the hip replacement surgery.

My mother's mom, on the other hand, had senile dementia. When my grandfather broke his hip, and had to be in the hospital, then in a convalescent center for physical therapy, my parents were away from home, so she came to stay with me. She was horrible. After about 6 weeks of dealing with her, I told my mother I was done, and she had to come home to deal with her. Even my mother had a lot of trouble with her. Fortunately, a couple weeks after she took over the care, my grandfather was released. She had to take care of both of them, but except for a couple incidents, it was a lot easier, since my grandmother cooperated fully with my grandfather.

It will be worth it when it is downsized for you. I am down to 6 hens and the quail. It is a lot less work

Lot less $ also. I had planned on downsizing... Was just supposed to have a trio of Nn JGs to hatch eggs from for breeding to NN to cross with CX next time... Have a coop full of chickens so can't save eggs for hatching... Seven ducks DW brought home for $6, and two free turkeys... So I have three coops going and out $$$ in feed.
Have a lot of different pickled eggs going though lol.
Turkeys will be gone in the fall, all but three ducks will be gone, still hoping I have a trio of pekins but not sure yet, can see I have 2 and 2 of the mallards (I don't want) but the pekins may be three girls (not sure just none looking or acting drakish yet but are HUGE) so I might have to find a drake which is not be a biggie.
Chickens though will be harder to cut down but a need to do...

Call your ombudsman's office, if you are looking for a facility for her. That's the office that the complaints go to, so while they can't really recommend a facility, they can give you the names of the ones with the least complaints against them. If you're bringing in a caregiver, get references, and be sure to check them, as well as installing a nanny cam.

My problem with grandma is I am quite Stoic... I usually let drama roll over and get over it quickly... The past twelve years has been mostly good. She was loving and silly and made me giggle often. But as she lost her faculties she became a bit angry... Cant drive... Hearing mostly gone.... Eyesight marginal... I understood... I also understood that I couldn't "fix" any of it.

So now its a struggle to get her to put her hearing aids in... That was what the blow up was about.... She doesn't know who I am... I am ok with that. She had just finished her breakfast and Hollered for my son. I came and tried to ask her what she wanted. She finally said "I don't know what to do now" I suggested that she put her hearing aids on.... my voice pitch isn't low enough for her to hear... After several tries me getting louder.... She said "Who are you Big Shot Telling me what to do"

sounds trivial but it was a last straw.... I walked out.

Now she thinks i hate her.... My son came home and grandma asked him to stay with her because "someone here Hates me"

My coping mechinism is gone... Eating... I cant weave wire because out of space needs i had to put it away.... I cant write because my mind is in turmoil... All I can do is Sleep to cope... I been sleeping alot during the day... Baby monitor on incase there is trouble. Its a hyper vigilant sleep...

I hope telling us helps! If only a little bit.

My weekend plans, working on vehicles which I hate but do not like paying $$ so I do it myself . Ford Expedition we just bought no big probs just decided to replace all the front end, little loose had some time off so what the heck go for it, upper A arms, lower ball joints, tie rod ends, sway bar links, got them all off eBay for $109 free shipping, cheap super cheap. Has been a battle. Than I saw one of the front 4x4 vacuum seals was not ok, so stuck in the air on blocks till I get one (got the wrong seal from Advanced auto), dummy said it was right, must be they changed something on it aftermarket...nah dude everything I tore apart on this thing factory, you can tell by the nuts, kinda like locktight on them plastic in the threads put on by robots. Ordering one off Amazon, lol.
Karma for us, one broke down sorta, all go down, every time. Yrs ago DW 9months preg, her car broke (turned out to be just clogged fuel injector, AWD minivan rear end went (easy fix but cost $550 just for little rear end, used..) says "I'm not riding to the hospital in your plow truck, FIX A FREAKING VEHICLE!!"
Pretty good gas leak on little Blazer, not looking forward to fixing it may havto drop tank again...
Went to go to town with Impala, what the heck is that awful noise! Super bad rear wheel bearing... and then wrong one from Advanced auto again.. My fault this time, ours does not have rear anti locks and wheel bearing hub different, borrow vehicle nother trip to town for right part, easy fix though.
At least its been good weather

I need to see what is loose on the evap control for the gas tank on the Honda. There is a smell of gas there-- that started after the smog test
