Wolfie, I don't know what got into SCG, because I would CERTAINLY not eat a chicken from a purple/lavendar egg of yours. As a matter of fact, if you sent me a few of them, I would hatch them gently, raise them in a warm brooder, take lots of pics for you to see and maybe even take them to Starbucks for treats...

Not necessarily. If it was a girl, it is most likely laying on someone's farm here in Maine. If it was a boy, it was delicious.

I do have to say that the stock is amazingly delicious and really easy to make. I gave a pint of it to my boss when I first started butchering and he thought I was nuts. Then he had the stock. He still asks to this day if I can spare any more. We also strain it and save the small meat pieces for stew meat. We use everything but the oink. Er... the crow.

Sorry my parts weren't censored correctly. I don't know what I was thinking. I remember now that this is a family site.
