I'd walk around it if it wasn't all over my property. My one chicken gate is still frozen to the ground, so I have to go around to the other. Not a big deal. The goat gate, on the other hand, is one of only one gate... and when that gets frozen to the ground I have to climb over. That is not a sight to behold.
My property is very shady and hilly. A few degrees above freezing means it melts, and runs down and re-freezes in a new area. We had snow again yesterday afternoon, but only a coating, so you couldn't see the terrain. It was like a horrible game of minesweeper.
So far this morning, I only slipped once. And no falls. I took two naproxen before bed and honestly feel better than yesterday. I can feel something still going on, but I was able to get my coat on this morning without the weird little dance that I had to do yesterday on account of my sore arm.
Ugh! Sounds about like here. My DH took out the ax the other day, and chopped it up in front of my smaller coop. He had to break ice up in front of the gate to the larger coop too. It's crazy out there. An ax! It was pretty thick.
Have to say, you always make me chuckle. "Not a sight to see" he he.
And, an update on my son that was in the hospital. He has been going weekly, then two weeks, and now will only go once a month to have his blood checked..he's on the Warrfarin. He looks soo much better. Whew. It took a while, but he is doing better in a lot of ways, and getting stronger. Yaay!
Quote: Don't say that! I did exactly that, fell and broke my two front teeth off when I was in the 7th grade...That was a long time ago and I still get shivers....
