well William is indoor/outdoor. Now Baby Girl also a Maine coon mix is an indoor cat only. This is her idea of mouse hunting

I'm not a cat person like years ago, but we have Rascal. He was a kitten born to one of the ferals here. My daughter and grandkids brought him on one morning with "look how tiny and cute he is!!" Even though I said NO, he's here. Matter of fact the morning I fell, I had gon eout to get a small crate I had just bought at the auction and had cleaned. Just for his little trip to the...V .....E .....T. Male cats and spraying is not something I want. As it is he's been reprived, but only because I couldn't drive that morning and they won't return my calls now. I even left messages before the appointment @ 7:30 am and called through the day and nothing! But I used to raise purebreds and a friend did my showinf for me. I couldn't get them to work on a lead in a ring. LOL Anyway, one of my all time favorite breeds are Coon Cats. They are awesome! The first I ever saw them was when I was a little girl and would visit my great grandparents on their dairy. My grandmother was always bragging about her Barn Cats and when I got older I found out what they were. Rascal, my be a keeper. He gets into my birds like the ferals around here and he's gone, but he has 2 gopher holes he's staked out and he spent most of one day catching and releasing a gopher and entertaining us. He either doesn't love us enough or hasn't gotten hold long enought to kill them, but I''ve been waiting to see if I find them on the porch.

until I was 5 we had a cat named Stinky. He was an amazing hunter. At about 4 years old I remember walking out on our front porch and there was stinky with a dead owl.
