Thanks for the update-- I've been praying. Glad the preparedness was sucessful in saving lives, if not the sugar cane.

THe gas tax in Mass went up this year by 3 more cents! Currently at 3.19. Needs to get to 1.50 IMO !!

They raised it here too...people had cut back on gasoline usage so much it was hurting tax revenues.

in th philippines its close to 6 bucks a gallon for unleaded. diesel is 4.50

as with most of the world

Full service gas stations !! Haven't seen those since I was in my 20's. My son doesn't believe me when I tell him the attendant used to pump the gas, clean your windshield, and check your oil and tires.
