ChickenCanoe, any mink update?

Anyone have experience hatching goose eggs?  Is there something different about hatching them compared to chicken and duck eggs?

Love the straightjacket pics, highly entertaining :)
there's a great article on the sticky section of the goose subforum. Unfortunately, as far as I know, stickies are unavailable on mobile version.

The best thing! We got rained on! Fianally. The last few days we've had some thunder and lightening, little rain, but it poured here this evening. Love it! A good hard rain.
DiDi..did you guys get any rain?

Here in New Mexico it is the start of our monsoon season. After three days of predicted rain with nada we got a day with just a 30% chance. Well, wouldn't you know it? The 30% cashed in at the Sandia Casino amphitheater right before the start of when Ringo Starr & His All-Star Band was to perform. We waited it out (it was warm and the rain poncho worked great) for an hour and then the show went on as the rain abated. 2.5 hours solid of tunes! Glad for the rain, just wish the timing was better.

Hey, Gardeners!

I have lots of assorted hollyhock seeds for anybody who wants to PM me an address. They came up in fabulous pinks, dark red and nearly black. They grow like weeds here....

JW 12 if you're thinking what I am thinking - then we both are thinking the same thing. No good is going to come of it.

The moderators DESERVE RESPECT. They don't make the rules. Some people are dead set to poke them in the eye with a stick. They don't win but, they keep on poking. In other settings ,,court ordered "psychiatric counseling" would be first on the bill. Just sayin". I think it would be as obvious to others as it is to me, that resurfacing under a different name fools no one.

I sure do love those deep pink/maroon shaded flowers! Love hollyhocks too. I wish my thumb was greener but I try. I'd love to have some... sending my address.

I got a free hollyhock at my local nursery (they close in June, so starting the end of May it's usually "buy 1 plant get 2 free!") but I must have planted it in a bad location because it is only about an inch or two taller than when I first planted it and yesterday I noticed somethings been munching at its leaves (although I see no pests).

I'll try my hand at it again, though. Thanks for sharing.
