I think the point is that this disease has been a serious problem for a very long time and it's only now that "western medicine" has taken an interest in being able to "study in follow up."

Really? If there is such an need to study it, and follow it up, and treat the health care workers who are most important - why in the world didn't we fly one of the world's leading experts on Ebola to the US for treatment or send a team out to treat him?

I don't notice US experts involved in treating the Spanish priest, although they did send the experimental drug for his treatment (in any event, he died.)

The audience base are those that already believe the slant that is being delivered. It's so easy to make money. Determine what a large segment of the population already believes and broadcast things that reinforce those beliefs. Doesn't matter if there is much truth woven into it.
How can a network as large as fox, even though they've employed people like Beck and Hannity, continue to bring on the perennially wrong Bill Kristoll and John Bolton.
I really want that gig. I can make stuff up and declare that it's good info, stick to the line and let somebody pay me year after year.

And how could MSNBC keep Piers Morgan whose flagrant lies about things he disapproved used to leave my husband and I staring at each other in amazement. Even the Brits who are not known for their opposition to corruption among the elites or overbearing government rejected him after his rather hilarious scandal - which wasn't funny for those he scapegoated in order to evade responsibility, criminal and otherwise.
