While grocery shopping today, i found a package of frozen quail. I have never tasted it. So i bought it. I want to grill it somehow. A friend told me to put a smoked sausage into the cavity, and wrap with bacon. The grill......Anybody have any ideas?
Quail (or any frozen poultry) can benefit greatly from brining. This can get rid of that slight freezer flavor AND makes for a juicy bird. My suggestion would be to smoke them. They should cook up pretty quick.
