The Old Folks Home

Appetizer for lunch.
Ceviche.
Organic home grown Roma tomatoes, green onions, red onion, white onion, Serrano chilies, sea salt, peppercorns, diced raw turbot and scallops marinated overnight in lime juice.
I prefer sea bass (corvina), but in the middle of the country one can't argue with any firm white non-oily sushi grade fish.

I think I had too much vegetation in relation to fish but it is delicious.

I love duck, don't think I would try goose tho, when I think of geese, I see hordes of Canadian Geese covering the countryside with the 3 daily lbs. of pp, the article says they dump. We call them "flying outhouses' here.

Besides one of them once bit me on the knee, I didn't think a toothless bird could inflict injury - then I discovered what a 'goose egg," really was - boy did that hurt!! Eat all you want just don't save any for me.
