Interesting. Keep us posted.
We had a leftover TomCat sticky trap that we baited with peanut butter and put in the woodpile where we thought rodents might be. In the morning there was no mouse and it was GONE. I wonder what kind of critter is wandering around with all that glue and plastic stuck to its face.
Wow you need a larger live trap baited!
Even for rats, the trap needs to be secured with a wire or they will walk away with it.Interesting. Keep us posted.

Every time I think about the hat, the Daniel Boone theme song from my youth comes to mind. Now it will be stuck there all day. Just for that, here ya go.Aww, that's a cute raccoon. Which I can safely say from thousands of kilometers away. Probably not a very welcome visitor though. He looks good, nice and fat and good looking fur. You'll get a nice hat out of him.
I think a big coon can go into a live trap, keep their butt out to prevent the door from closing, grab the bait and escape.I put the remains of the pullet that was killed yesterday in the back of a live trap and set it last night. DH put up a game cam to see the action. This morning, the trap was sprung and empty. No varmint, and the carcass was gone. Dh will check the camera later this morning to see what it was.
Cat, possum, raccoon, weasel, etc..Interesting. Keep us posted.

I don't think it would encourage cat people to keep them at home. They know cats are vulnerable to dogs, foxes and cars yet let them roam anyway.I laughed out loud at the thought of this! Then, an idea came to me. Wouldn't this encourage people to keep their cats at home?
Sorry, cat people, but I keep my dog from wandering uninvited into other's yards, garages, porches, gardens, and certainly off the tops of their cars. I would like the same courtesy.
Wow I'm sorry everyone is having predator problems! I hope y'all get em good once and for all!![]()
I've owned cats and my son has one at our house now. I like cats, indoors.
And how do cats get a free pass when it comes to leash laws?
