RIP 1953-2021
Five bucks per gallon is what it should be in my opinion. That would put US car manufacturing on the right track. My view is wildly unpopular though.
I spoke with a hotel receptionist once, he told me they had had a couple of US tourists, who were commenting on how ridiculously small all the cars here are. He told them to take a look at the price sign on the gas station near by the next time they're returning to the hotel. When they came back they really liked cars with small engines.
Cars also cost quite a lot here. For comparison, a Ford Mondeo (similar to the Fusion on that side of the pond) starts at 29000 euros (over 35000 dollars) with a 115hp 1.6 liter diesel engine. The cheapest gas version is over 30k euros.
So its our fault... sigh. everything is our fault we consume too much food we are responsible for climate change the Ozone hole we are incapable of toeing the line on metrics..... Sorry I apologize Its been a long night and I am feeling extra sensitive today. These are reactions to comments from many other people not just you Felix... I am not normally like this
